As growth expands into areas with increased ecological and environmentally sensitive features, the ability to assess the impact on sensitive areas such as wetlands and their buffers is a critical element of a successful design.
Our Natural Resource Ecologists evaluate projects for the presence of wetlands, streams, and wildlife. We review the regulatory constraints applicable through local, state, and federal agencies, and recommend solutions for dealing with these sensitive features in a practical and cost effective manner. By working closely with our Planning and Engineering staff, we are able to maximize efficiency during the design phase.
When mitigation is required, we assist the Design Team in developing solutions that will be acceptable to the regulatory agencies, and can be accomplished within the client's budget and schedule. We focus on recommending mitigation options that are attainable and appropriate, and provide wetland/buffer planting and mitigation plans, as well as maintenance and monitoring specifications.
