Project Coordinator - Engineering

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform research for feasibility studies, municipal code, records requests, and land use and construction permit application requirements
  • Proof and final correspondence, including letters, proposals, and transmittals
  • Draft documents/complete forms as necessary using Word, Excel, Bluebeam
  • Coordinate with Client and other departments to compile and submit permit materials and make fee payments
  • Submit, track, and expedite permits with a variety of Jurisdictions in Snohomish, King, and Pierce Counties
  • Research municipal fees for permit fee cost estimates
  • Attend Task List meetings with team
  • Maintain internal filing system for team
  • Notary services as necessary

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, or an equivalent of work and education preferred
  • 1-2 years of civil engineering administration preferred
  • Familiarity with site planning, land development, permit processing, and land use planning.
  • Ability to prioritize a diverse workload, complete tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to write and communicate at a professional level.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive research, analyze impacts, and summarize key issues in writing.
