IPT Tacoma Logistics Center

Barghausen partnered with Industrial Properties Trust for the redevelopment of IPT Tacoma Logistics Center—an industrial site in the port of Tacoma. The project included the construction of two industrial warehouses—one at 280,000 square feet, and the other at 830,000 square feet—as well as the redevelopment of the existing 57.5 acre site.

The IPT project came with several unique challenges. In addition to being a previously developed site with many unknown utilities, the site discharges stormwater directly to the Middle Waterway so caution had to be taken not to disturb critical areas for installation of the new storm system.
