Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Industrial | 270,000 SF

Dermody Properties purchased a large piece of land in Everett, WA to create an industrial park called Mountain View. Their newest addition is a 3-story, 270,000 SF biomanufacturing facility for Seagen, formerly known as Seattle Genetics. This lease marks a significant step forward for Seagen's growth and positions the company to attract top talent in the industry. The facility will produce new cancer drugs and treatments, as well as antibody-based medicines for commercial and clinical use worldwide. This location is expected to employ up to 200 people.

Dermody Properties' first project in the business park was the LogistiCenter at Mountain View, which houses a 146,740 SF logistics building leased to Amazon. In addition, the east storm pond of the Mountain View Business Center was completed in May of 2022, including a dam with a high downstream hazard potential of hazard class 1B.

To ensure the safety of the community, our team was responsible for monitoring and reporting any downstream development within the inundation area to the Washington State Department of Ecology during the project. Our team prepared plans for grading, storm drainage, water, waterline, sanitary sewer, stormwater, paving, signage, and striping.

Our firm provided civil engineering and surveying for Seagen and Dermody Properties on this project. The project team includes Skanska as the contractor, Nelson Worldwide, Foushee and Associates, SABA, and Fluor Enterprises of Greenville, South Carolina as the architects, WBLA as the landscape architect, and Terra Associates, Inc. as the geotech.
