Grocery Outlet

Cameron Park, CA

Civil Engineering, Permit Expediting, Commercial | 2.24 Acres

The Grocery Outlet in Cameron Park, CA, is a recent addition to the local community, situated at the southwest intersection of Winterhaven Drive and Green Valley Road. The store offers a total of 77 parking spaces, consisting of 53 standard spaces, 6 accessible spaces, 9 compact spaces, and 9 spaces designated for future electric vehicles.

The Grocery Outlet store sits on a 2.24-acre property, encompassing 16,464 SF of building space, 47,543 SF of parking space, 7,407 SF of walkways, and 12,944 SF of landscaped area. Grading activities spanned across the entire project area, involving both cut and fill operations.

Originally, the undeveloped site had mostly fallow soil before the property underwent vertical construction. The surface drainage naturally flowed towards the southern end, leading stormwater through surface runoff. Post-construction, surface drainage is collected via a series of storm drain inlets where it is conveyed to a proprietary stormwater treatment device and detention system. The proposed stormwater system releases water at a specified rate, eventually discharging to the existing stormwater conveyance system.

We provided civil engineering and permit expediting services for this project. Our scope of work included plans for demolition, TESC, horizontal control, fire, grading, drainage, overall utilities, water main and profile, sewer, force main and profile, and frontage improvements.
