Bonney Lake, WA

Civil Engineering, Land Use Planning, Landscape Architecture, Energy | 1 acre, 4,872 sf

The Tehaleh community in Bonney Lake, WA is gaining a new retail center. The first development in the Canyon View Village Center is a 7-Eleven convenience store and gas station. Construction commenced in October of 2022 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2023. The convenience store will offer Amazon storage lockers, home delivery, and localized specialties unique to the community.

Barghausen partnered with Visconsi Companies to provide land use planning, civil engineering and landscape design services for the 1-acre site. The 4,872 SF 7-Eleven store will have unique architectural façades to align with the Tehaleh’s architectural standards; this will be the first-of-its-kind design (Architect: PM Design Group, Inc.) The development also includes a 1,800 SF fueling canopy with 4 fueling islands (MPDs). Our team collaborated with the Tehaleh Architectural Review Committee (ARC) to obtain approvals for the building, landscape, and site design.

Our team prepared civil construction documents including the site plan and plans for horizontal control, demolition and TESC, grading, drainage, utilities, landscape and irrigation.

Future developments in the Canyon View Village Center include a dentist office, café, Wendy's, full-service restaurants, a medical building and salons.
