Get Out & Explore Challenge!

There were many things that came to mind when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. One major question we pondered was how will we continue Barghausen's culture while business is operating remotely? Culture is a priority to us and we wanted a way to keep our employees connected. With everyone cooped up inside, we thought challenging our employees to an outdoor photo challenge was the perfect solution to keep our culture going. It’s no secret that 2020 has been a stressful year, being outside and getting fresh air helps promote endorphins and reduce stress.

What is The Challenge?

It’s simple, explore the elements and snap a selfie! With all this extra time at home we’re encouraging our employees to get outside on the weekends, in the morning, evenings, and on lunch breaks. From rollerblading and biking, to snowshoeing and lunch walks, we’re so thrilled with the results from this challenge. Just one month in and our employees are reaping the benefits of exploring the outdoors, “I now have been through three seasons and have got to be quite in touch with the forest sounds of the stream and birds.
