Chipotle

University Place, WA

Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Commercial | 2,335 SF

Chipotle recently celebrated the grand opening of their University Place location. The new restaurant is located on the highly traveled Bridgepoint Way, near the Green Firs Towne Center. This two-phased project includes two quick-serve restaurants on adjacent parcels, Chipotle and Habit Burger.

Barghausen partnered with Confluent Development to provide civil engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture services for the Chipotle project. The development started with the removal of an existing 5,000+ SF restaurant (formerly known as Massimo, or Captain Nemo's from years prior). Our team assisted with the site plan for the 2,335 SF Chipotle restaurant that offers a pickup window and 20 parking spaces. Our team prepared plans for grading, paving, horizontal control, storm drainage, detention and water quality treatment, sanitary sewer services, grease interceptor layout, domestic water services and the storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP).

Frontage improvements included sidewalk upgrades, driveway access improvements, ADA ramps, landscape improvements and storm and utility adjustments. Our landscape team designed the planting plans and irrigation system for the site. Stay tuned for the Habit Burger grand opening in the near future!
