The Allenmore Marketplace is a shopping center located next door to the MultiCare Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, WA. The Marketplace is anchored by Walmart, and surrounded by quick-serve restaurants and commercial retail businesses. Tenants include McDonald's, Starbucks, Navy Federal Credit Union, Jimmy John's, and T-Mobile. The Tacoma shopping center is located off of South Union Avenue, with 60,000 sf of mixed-use, commercial retail space on a total of 17.76 acres. Barghausen was contracted by Allenmore Marketplace Investors, LLC to provide civil engineering, land surveying, land use planning and landscape architecture services for this three-phased project.
The Allenmore Marketplace project started with ALTA and topographic surveys for the entire site. Our field crew prepared and processed a boundary line adjustment to split the site into five separate parcels for the Allenmore Marketplace layout. Barghausen's planning team also prepared land use entitlements, including SEPA environmental review and an associated rough grading permit.
Barghausen completed civil design for the parcels that host Starbucks, McDonald’s, Navy Federal Credit Union, Jimmy John's, T-Mobile and a future medical office location. The entitlements, building permit processing, survey, landscape design and project management for the commercial retail and QSR developments were provided by our multidisciplinary team.
