Stadium Apartments

The Stadium Apartments offer studio, one- and two-bedroom units with views of the Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, and the Olympics. Located in the heart of Tacoma's Stadium District, the design captures the nature of the historic neighborhood while offering a contemporary residential aesthetic. The goal of this project was to provide a user experience with resident needs under one roof. The multifamily, mixed-use project includes a pet park, dog washroom, community rooms, a fitness center, a walk-in cooler for cold storage and more. These apartments were inspired by the vintage neighborhood and the unique array of old-style shops and dining within walking distance. Barghausen provided civil engineering, permitting and land surveying services for the 172 unit, 220,000 sf mixed-use building that sits on .66-acres. The three (3) level, below-grade controlled access garage offers 204 parking stalls with free bicycle storage rooms throughout. The design included 2,260 sf of retail space that currently hosts an upscale coffee shop. Frontage improvements included new sidewalks, driveways, and landscape planters along the frontage roads of the project site.
